  The name may not be so descriptive but this place is lovely! One of those restaurants where you have a great experience from beginning to end, nothing over the top but great service and yummy food. The decor is fun to look at! Lots of cool antiques and stone tables - a great overall experience!

  The decor and seating is awkward and uncomfortable and somewhat bizarre. Our tea was greasy. My bento box lunch was the saddest thing I've ever seen. My miso was fine, but to be honest tasted just like the one I make from powder in my kitchen. The salad was an insipid mixed green doused in soy sauce (what?!). The cucumber pickle was fair but unevenly cut. The california roll was solidly good. The teriyaki chicken was terrible -- rubbery boiled chicken breast with a line of bitter sauce poured over. What?! The tempura shrimp was edible but not hot and a bit floppy. The rice was dry. The green tea ice cream (advertised as part of the bento lunch special) was not available. The overall look of the box was unappealing. (See photo.) My companion's sushi was good in taste but appeared unevenly cut. If we were to return, I would sit at the bar (for slightly more comfortable seats) and order from the sushi menu exclusively.

  Atmosphere is dope. Sushi rolls aren't the biggest but most of them are only $6. Very tasty and authentic while also cheap so you can get a variety of stuff.
